Privacy Policy

Zip Code Guide (מדריך מיקוד) - Android application (com.crecker.zipcodeguide)

This Privacy Policy describes how Spartapp ("we", "us", the "Developer") handles information in connection with the mobile application Zip Code Guide (the "Application"), distributed through the Google Play Store. By using the Application you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information You Provide

The Application lets you look up Israeli zip codes and addresses. When you perform a search, the details you enter (city, street, house number, entrance, P.O. box, or zip code) are transmitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection to the public zip code lookup service of the Israel Postal Company (israelpost.co.il) solely in order to return the result you requested.

• These search details are not linked to your identity by us and are not accompanied by any account information.
• We do not operate our own servers and do not store, log, or retain your searches anywhere outside your device.
• The handling of requests by the Israel Postal Company is subject to its own privacy practices.

2. Information Collected Automatically (Advertising)

The Application is free and supported by advertising. It displays banner ads and app-open ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google may automatically collect and process information from your device, including:

• Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier; the Application declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission for this purpose);
• IP address (which may be used to derive approximate, coarse location);
• Device information such as model, operating system version, and language;
• Ad interaction data (such as ad views and clicks) and app diagnostics related to ad serving.

This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies:

• Google advertising technologies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Your choices: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google / Privacy → Ads).

3. Google Play Services (Updates and Reviews)

The Application uses Google Play services to check for and install app updates (Google Play In-App Updates) and to optionally invite you to rate the Application (Google Play In-App Review). These features are operated by Google Play and any data they process is handled by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy linked above.

4. Information Stored Only on Your Device

The Application keeps a small amount of technical data in its local storage on your device only, such as a count of successful searches (used to decide when to invite you to rate the app) and the time an ad was last shown (used to limit ad frequency). This data:

• never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or to anyone else;
• is deleted automatically when you clear the Application's storage or uninstall it.

5. Information We Do NOT Collect

• No registration or account is required, and none exists.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or files.
• We do not collect precise or approximate location information from your device. (Note that, as described in Section 2, Google may derive coarse location from your IP address for advertising purposes.)

6. Permissions Used by the Application

• INTERNET - required to query the zip code lookup service and to load ads;
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE - used to check network availability;
• AD_ID - allows Google AdMob to use the device's Advertising ID as described in Section 2.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent any user data. Information is shared only as described in this policy:

• search details are transmitted to the Israel Postal Company's lookup service to perform the search you requested;
• advertising-related data is collected by Google AdMob and Google Play services as described above;
• we may disclose information if required to do so by law.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not retain any personal data on systems of our own - we operate no servers and keep no user databases. Accordingly:

• local data described in Section 4 is removed by clearing the Application's storage or uninstalling the Application;
• data collected by Google (Section 2 and 3) is retained by Google in accordance with its policies; you can manage or delete it through your device's Advertising ID controls and through Google's tools at https://myadcenter.google.com;
• the Israel Postal Company processes search requests under its own practices; we retain nothing from those requests.

9. Children

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@spartapp.com and we will take appropriate action.

10. Security

Communication between the Application and the zip code lookup service is performed over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Because we do not collect or store user data ourselves, the risk of unauthorized access to user data held by us is minimal.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when the Application's capabilities change. Any changes will be posted on this page together with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We advise you to review this page periodically.
