iStock - Israeli Stocks (Android application, package: com.crecker.istock)

Effective date: July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the iStock - Israeli Stocks mobile application (the “Application”, “we”, “our”) handles information when you use it. The Application is a free, ad-supported app that lets you search and track stocks traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. It does not require registration or a user account.

1. Summary

We (the developer) do not collect, store or sell any personal information on our own servers. Your stock watchlist and settings are stored only on your device. However, the Application displays advertising provided by Google AdMob, and Google, as a third-party advertising provider, automatically collects certain data (such as your device’s Advertising ID and IP address) in order to serve ads. This is described in detail below.

2. Information stored only on your device

The following information is created and stored locally on your device only, and is never transmitted to us:

This data never leaves your device, and it is deleted when you clear the Application’s storage or uninstall the Application.

3. Market data requests

To show up-to-date stock values, the Application fetches publicly available market data over the Internet from the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange public web services (tase.co.il). These requests contain only the stock identifiers needed to retrieve quotes. Like any Internet request, they technically expose your device’s IP address to the server that receives them. The Application does not attach any personal information to these requests.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Application shows ads (banner ads and app-open ads) served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google may automatically collect and process data from your device, including:

This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies. Depending on your device settings and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. For more information, see:

Your advertising choices

5. Google Play services

The Application uses the following Google Play services, which involve communication between your device and Google:

These interactions are handled by Google Play and are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Permissions used by the Application

PermissionWhy it is needed
INTERNETFetching stock market data and serving ads.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEChecking whether an Internet connection is available before fetching data, and honoring your “Wi-Fi only” refresh preference.
AD_ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID)Allowing Google AdMob to use the device’s Advertising ID for serving ads.

The Application does not request or use permissions for precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage of your files, or any other sensitive device capability. The Application may run a lightweight background task on your device solely to refresh your watchlist values according to the refresh interval you chose; this task does not collect or transmit personal data.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise transfer any personal information to third parties, because we do not collect any. The only data sharing that occurs is the automatic collection by Google described in section 4, which happens directly between your device and Google.

8. Data retention and deletion

9. Security

We care about safeguarding your information. Since the Application does not transmit personal information to us, the main data at rest is your local watchlist, which is protected by your device’s standard application sandbox. Please be aware that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Children

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The advertising shown in the Application is provided by Google AdMob under its policies. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us at the address below and we will assist; you can also uninstall the Application and clear its data to remove all locally stored information.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding personal data, such as the right to access, correct or delete it. Because we do not collect or hold personal data ourselves, such requests regarding advertising data should be directed to Google using the links in sections 4 and 8. You may also contact us with any question and we will do our best to help.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example when the Application’s capabilities change. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Your consent

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of information as described in this Privacy Policy, including the processing by Google described in section 4.
