About this policy
The Seoul Flight Status (ICN) app team respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
The app does not require an account and the team does not ask you to provide your name, email address, contacts, or precise location to use its flight information features.
Information processed by the app
The app connects to the internet to retrieve flight schedules and related airline information. As with most online services, the servers providing this content may receive standard technical information, such as an IP address, device or browser information, and the time of a request.
Your app preferences, such as language and theme, and limited information used to manage the in-app review prompt are stored locally on your device. Search terms are used to filter the displayed flights and are not intentionally sent to the app team.
Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, general location derived from it, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, and diagnostic information. This information may be used to provide and measure ads, prevent fraud, and maintain service security.
Depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Where required, the app uses Google's consent interface before requesting ads. You can also manage advertising and privacy choices through your device settings and Google's available privacy controls.
Third-party services
The app relies on third-party services to provide its main functions. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
- Google Privacy Policy — including Google AdMob and Google Play services.
- How Google uses information for advertising.
- Incheon International Airport — source of flight-related information.
Sharing of information
The app team does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the service providers described above as needed to operate the app, provide advertising, measure performance, and protect against fraud or abuse. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or to protect legal rights and safety.
Retention and deletion
The app team does not maintain user accounts or a user profile database. Locally stored app preferences generally remain until you clear the app's data or uninstall it, subject to Android backup or device-transfer features. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies and legal requirements.
You may clear the app's local data through Android settings or uninstall the app. For privacy questions or requests relating to the app team, contact us using the address below.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information, including encrypted network connections where supported. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the applicable minimum age in their country. The app team does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to the team, please contact us.
International processing
Third-party services may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their privacy policies explain the safeguards and legal bases they use for international processing.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, its services, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
