Click Counter  ·  Last updated: July 1, 2026

Overview

Click Counter ("the App", "we", "our") is a simple tally counter application developed by SpartApp. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Short version: Your counter data and settings are stored only on your device and never sent to our servers. We do not collect personal information. The App displays ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect certain device identifiers as described below.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and your choices. By using Click Counter you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Local only Counter & App Data

All data you create inside the App – counter names, values, notes, emojis, colors, step sizes, min/max limits, and app preferences (theme, language, haptic feedback, sound settings) – is stored exclusively on your device using Android's local database (Room) and preferences storage (DataStore). This data is never transmitted to us or any third party.

Third-party Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

The App shows banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may automatically collect:

This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under their own privacy policies. We do not receive, store, or have access to this data.

Third-party Google Play Services

The App uses Google Play Core libraries to deliver in-app updates and prompt for app store reviews. These services operate under Google's privacy policy and may collect standard diagnostic information.

App Permissions

How Information Is Used

We use the locally stored data solely to provide the core functionality of the App: displaying, editing, and persisting your counters across sessions. We do not analyze, share, or monetize this data in any way.

Google AdMob uses the advertising data it collects to:

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, because we do not collect personal data ourselves.

The only third-party data flow occurs between your device and Google AdMob's servers as described above. Google's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities.

Data Retention & Security

Your counter data and preferences are retained on your device for as long as the App is installed. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

We take reasonable precautions to protect the App's local storage. Because no data is transmitted to our servers, there is no server-side data to secure on our end.

For data held by Google AdMob, please refer to Google AdMob's data retention practices.

Your Advertising Choices

You can control interest-based advertising on your Android device:

Non-personalized ads may still be shown, which do not use your advertising ID for targeting but may still use contextual signals (e.g., app category).

Children's Privacy

Click Counter is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The advertising served by Google AdMob is not targeted at children, and we have not designated this App as child-directed within AdMob.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us using the details below so we can take appropriate action.

Third-Party Links & Services

The App's share feature allows you to send a link to the App's Google Play Store listing. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of the Google Play Store or any other external services you choose to share content with.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
